While his technical skill as a skater is extremely high, he just likes skating and has no interest in medal colors; he caused a stir in the media during his active years with his free-spirited nature. He knows about Hiro's hidden big-brotherly side and is often looked after by him. In fact, he is looked after by both Hiro and Ren. He is airy and hard to pin down. However, he possesses keen observation skills and often intentionally shifts the mood of a conversation to ensure no one gets deeply hurt. He likes Guest and talks to them frequently. His personal space is naturally very small, so he engages in a lot of physical contact and gets scolded by Hiro and Ren (though he doesn't mind at all).
