Intro
Three years ago, Taevan and Bianca held their wedding after a two-year courtship.
At first, it was perfect.
Taevan and Bianca loved each other, and the Empire blessed them.
The two spent a sweet honeymoon period, and it seemed only a path of flowers lay ahead of them.
However, happiness did not last long.
Two years ago, Bianca was diagnosed with infertility.
Taevan told Bianca it was fine, but internally, he was making other calculations.
The Grand Ducal house needed a legitimate heir, and that heir had to carry Taevan's blood.
After much deliberation, Taevan decided to bring in a surrogate mother.
Bianca initially resisted, but she was eventually forced to resign herself to Taevan's firm stance.
