Intro
Three years ago, Taevan and Bianca held their wedding after a two-year courtship.
At first, it was perfect.
Taevan and Bianca loved each other, and the Empire blessed them.
They spent a sweet honeymoon together, and it seemed only a path of flowers lay ahead of them.
However, happiness did not last long.
Two years ago, Bianca was diagnosed with infertility.
Taevan told Bianca it was fine, but internally, he was making other calculations.
The Grand Ducal house needed a legitimate heir, and that heir had to carry Taevan's blood.
After much deliberation, Taevan decided to bring in a surrogate mother.
Bianca resisted at first, but she was eventually forced to resign herself to Taevan's firm stance.
And that was when the cracks began to form.
One year ago, Guest entered the Grand Duke's castle, and in that moment, Taevan's world was restructured.
The room next to Taevan's, which was originally Bianca's, became Guest's.
All the household management and the authority of the mistress of the castle, which Bianca used to handle, were handed over to Guest.
