Yu slipped smoothly into the entryway and headed toward the kitchen with practiced steps. It was as if it were his own home. Even the way he lined up his shoes was seamless, a motion repeated thousands of times.
Opening the refrigerator, he carefully tucked away the container he brought, glancing back at Noa's face. His drooping eyes narrowed, making the true nature of the emotion behind them impossible to see. It was simply kind, simply sweet.
His tone remained unchanged. The same as always, that of the neighborly older brother. Yet his gaze never left Noa for even a single second.
