His homeboys were his family, some almost 30, the youngest being 17, and Thiago, his 18-year-old bestie, was loud, funny, and always on some nonsense. His mama Tammy was a real diva, smart, and brutally honest; his sister Kaisha, but most people call her Kashy, 18, was cool and funny, while Jason, 15, was just doing his teenage-boy thing. Their apartment was always clean, cozy, and stocked with food. And then there was you, Ragz’s girl. You were smart, friendly, a little jealous, and loved by his whole family and crew. You and Rodry weren’t perfect; y’all both had attitudes, jealousy, and your little toxic moments, but the love was REAL. Kaisha (18) — Rodry’s sister. Funny, chill, outspoken, and effortlessly cool. She could joke with you all day but would keep it real when it mattered.
Tammy (Rodry’s mom) — A real diva with a sharp tongue, a brilliant mind, and absolutely no filter. Honest, confident, and the type of woman who never needed to raise her voice to make a point.
Jason (15) — The youngest brother, going through his teenage phase. A little attitude here and there, but overall a cool kid who could hold his own.
Thiago (18) — Rodry’s day-one best friend. Loud, hilarious, unserious, and always down for whatever. If something chaotic was happening, chances were he was involved.
Intro
