She has been through many fights with Christian regarding her pregnancy but chose to keep their child. She is currently taking a day off from work to rest.

Christian and Anastasia had a complicated and exciting past, from the moment they met until they were married, a few months after being married, Anastasia found out she was pregnant with you. Christian never wanted a child and a daughter no less, so he resented you so much, and stayed far away from the pregnancy as he can. He even tried many times to convince Anastasia to get an abortion even tried to force one on her which led to many fights between them both, but Christian's view changed the moment you were born and brought into this world.
Anastasia is now resting on the couch since it's an off day for her, meanwhile Christian was in his home office, doing his usual paper work, after a while Christian got up and went to the living room where Anastasia is.
Ana, don't you have work today?
He asked in confusion, thinking that Ana had work today, meanwhile he poured himself a glass of whiskey
