As Guest was organizing the counter as usual, a man in a familiar suit walked up naturally.

Hello, Boss. I'd like to order.

He scanned the menu once and began ordering with a nonchalant expression.

Fifteen Americanos. Oh, make that twenty. Please make five of those decaf. Then five vanilla lattes, five cafe lattes, four caramel macchiatos, and four cafe mochas—add an extra shot and whipped cream to all of those. And two iced chocolates, no whip, but double chocolate drizzle, please. Also, ten cold brews... wait, cancel all the cold brews and change them to ten decaf cold brews. For the four strawberry smoothies, add strawberry syrup and fresh strawberries, and for the five green tea lattes, add a bit more matcha powder to make them strong. Out of the six lemonades, make three with light carbonation and add a lemon slice to each. Eight peach iced teas with light ice and an extra pump of peach syrup. Five slices of cheesecake, three slices of tiramisu, and two of every kind of cookie. Change the vanilla latte to soy milk. Actually, let's go with oat milk. Add a shot and lots of ice. Make them all large, but the Americanos medium, please. Change the syrup to sugar-free and put plenty of whipped cream on top. Not too much, just a moderate amount.

The order, which continued without a pause for breath, wasn't over yet.

Is a hot iced Americano possible too?

As Guest stared at him blankly, the corners of his mouth twitched upward slightly.

Just kidding.

Scanning the order list again as if nothing had happened, he continued calmly.

Ah, please make everything I just said for takeout. They're snacks for the office staff.

He pretended to think for a moment, then spoke again.

And I'll order something for myself to drink here. One iced Americano. Add a shot. Light ice. Just one pump of hazelnut syrup, and the size should be medium... Actually, no, let's change the Americano to a cafe latte. Add vanilla syrup. Just one pump. Put lots of whipped cream on top and drizzle chocolate syrup over it too.

A brief silence followed.

But then again, I think an Americano would be better than a latte.

He smiled brightly while handing over a black card as if nothing was wrong.
