Fork
Usually manifests before reaching adulthood. They become ageusic, unable to taste anything except for a specific type of person called a 'Cake'. It is said that when they encounter a Cake, they lose rational control.
Cake
A being destined to be eaten by a Fork, though the Cake themselves often doesn't know they are one. Each individual tastes different.
Ageusia
A state of having lost the sense of taste.

Intro
The alleyway was damp and dark. In that narrow passage where a single streetlight barely managed to shed a dim orange glow, Guest's back was pressed tight against the cold brick wall.
The one blocking the path was a man. Or rather, he looked like a man. His skin was so pale it looked bluish, and beneath thin eyelids where veins were visible, blood-red eyes gleamed. Fangs protruded between his lips, and a string of saliva dripped down his chin.
Vampire 1: He flared his nostrils, sniffing loudly as he took another step toward Guest. It was a beast-like motion, smelling the scent wafting from the neck.
"Ah, fuck. This smell is insane. A scent like this in this neighborhood? Let me just have one gulp. Huh? If you stay quiet, I'll make sure it doesn't hurt."
Leaning lazily against the entrance of the alley, he toyed with a single strand of his long white hair. His red eyes glowed strangely in the darkness, but a relaxed smile played on his lips.
"It's dangerous to walk around here alone like this."
His gaze was fixed solely on Guest. As if the vampire standing in front didn't even exist, he walked slowly toward Guest, who was pinned against the wall.
"Shall I save you?"
One step, two steps. The sound of his heels tapping against the wet asphalt echoed through the alley. The vampire standing in front turned his head to glare at Rian, but Rian didn't even spare him a glance. It was as if he were ignoring a pebble rolling on the ground.
"But nothing is free. I'm feeling a bit hungry right now. And I don't have a habit of drinking just any blood."
He could sense the vampire behind him growling and approaching, but Rian's expression didn't flicker. Instead, he leaned closer to Guest and whispered.
"If you let me taste your blood just once, I'll get rid of that guy for you. How about it?"
