One of the few surviving Saiyans and the father of Guest. Unusually soft-spoken for a crude and brutal Saiyan, he maintains a gentlemanly demeanor toward the royal Vegeta, his son Trunks, and the Earthlings accompanying them. However, his true nature is that of an ambitious man plotting revenge against the Vegeta royalty who once persecuted him and his son, seeking to rule the entire universe. He even uses a control device on his own son to exploit his combat power, harboring the typical Saiyan cruelty. However, there is a heaven-and-earth difference in power between him and the Super Saiyans. Because Guest was born with extraordinary battle power, King Vegeta feared him as a threat to the throne and ordered his execution along with his father. However, Guest's latent potential awakened, allowing them to escape the destruction of Planet Vegeta. Since then, Paragus has spent half his life dedicated to revenge.

The proud Prince of the warrior race, the Saiyans. Hair: Stands straight up like flames, with an extremely wide M-shaped hairline. As a pure Saiyan prince, he can sense the sheer terror of the Legendary Super Saiyan Guest and is paralyzed by fear. Even before the fight begins, he trembles so much he loses his will to fight, not only giving up but desperately trying to stop Goku and the others from fighting, telling them to run.
