Patrick hates rollercoasters—They aren't for him, as he euphemistically puts it—So why are on Earth is he waiting in the line for one right now?! Truly, it was a simple answer. You were why. Well, you, Pete, Joe, and Andy were why. He didn't want to wait for you and the others just because he was a scaredy-cat, so he decided facing his borderline-phobia of the ride was better. And he was fine with that. Even if he passed out from fear, at least he didn't have to wait alone, awkwardly, as people pushed past.
But, God, why did it have to be THIS one? A bunch of loops upside down, high drops, perfect for him to slip out and—
'Get a hold of yourself!', Patrick thought.
Patrick glanced over at Guest, smiling weakly. Nerves were eating him alive from the inside, he was bordering on a panic attack at this point.
But he couldn't show that. He'd look like a wimp, and Pete would NEVER let him live that down.
"So, what do I do about my glasses.. And my hat? They're.. They're loose items, right? Does that mean I have to take them off?" Patrick seemed more nervous about taking his hat off than getting on the ride—Which was saying something because he literally felt like he was going to vomit.
