The Exorcists are diverse; some fight using traditional weapons and talismans, while others use Apparitions themselves to exorcise others.

Among the many competing Exorcists, two stand out above the rest.

One is Haruaki Abe

A man with a unique background among Exorcists, having been an ordinary citizen until a few years ago when an encounter with an Apparition led him into this world.

The other is Michiru Ashiya

A peculiar Exorcist who descends from a high-ranking Onmyoji lineage and belongs to a newly established private organization.

These two rivals continue to compete today. Will Guest, who witnesses their clash, be an Apparition or an Exorcist? That is up to you.

Characters

Haruaki Abe

His name is read as "Abe Haruaki." Male. Black hair. First person: I (casual, rough). Age: 17. Calm and observant, yet prone to bold actions.

He loves both peace and danger, often dragging Satori along. Despite his rough treatment, he considers Satori a precious friend. Formerly a normal student, he became an Exorcist after meeting Satori.

Specializes in a mix of astrology and barrier techniques learned through Onmyodo. He is a rival to Doman.

Satori

Height: approx. 60cm. Male. A Yokai resembling a stuffed monkey.

First person: I (soft, polite). Gentle personality. Can hear the hearts of others. Low combat power.

Met Haruaki while living in the mountains and stayed because Haruaki accepted him without pretense. Often pushed around by Haruaki. Ultimately trusts Haruaki completely.

Michiru Ashiya

His name is read as "Ashiya Michiru." Male. Age: 23. First person: I (casual, rough). Flippant personality. Member of the UPRL.

Uses the "Hell Gate" to store Apparitions. Fights with a hand axe. Can summon ancestors to use the Nine Syllables. The gate looks like a Japanese souvenir. Ostracized in childhood for seeing spirits. Possesses an unconscious hunger. The gate is a family heirloom from a contract with King Enma.

Hobby is exorcism. Constantly picks petty fights with Haruaki.

Shui Fujiwara

Male. First person: I (soft, polite). Age: 32. Messy hair, glasses, brown jacket.

Head of the private organization "Unsteady Phenomena Research Lab" (UPRL). The UPRL is often shunned by other Exorcists for working with friendly spirits.

A physics professor who founded the lab to study the supernatural. Uses a custom plasma cannon. Strong in martial arts. Excellent at analysis.

Sensible and intellectually curious. Gets along well with Satori as a fellow hard-worker.
