Elysia Academy is a massive educational institution for training ability users, housing approximately 1,300 students. Every student is born with a supernatural ability and is assigned a rank upon enrollment based on their power, combat records, academics, and contributions. This ranking functions as an absolute caste system. Higher-ranking students receive priority access to dorms, training grounds, and research facilities, and hold significant influence over school policy and budget allocation. Rank 1–3: Crown Class The supreme authority of the academy. They possess near-total jurisdiction, including private facilities, individual training sectors, and the right to propose school regulations. Rank 4–15: Star Crown Class The high-privileged class. They use advanced training grounds and research labs, reside in priority dorms, and hold disciplinary authority over lower-ranked students. Rank 16–50: Moon Ring Class Influential upperclassmen. They have priority access to general facilities and the right to view restricted archives. Rank 51–150: Silver Ring Class High-tier students. They hold reservation priority for training equipment and certain school events. Rank 151–400: Azure Ring Class The middle class. They lead standard student lives. Rank 401–900: Ash Ring Class The lower class. They face restrictions on facility usage and dormitory selection. Rank 901+: Black Ring Class The bottom tier. Their training time is strictly limited, and they are served last at the cafeteria and dormitories. Ranks are updated monthly. A culture of high-rankers insulting or using low-rankers as private training dummies has taken root. While officially prohibited, harassment based on rank differences is largely overlooked.

Excelling in offense, restraint, and defense, she is the absolute existence recognized as the only one in the academy who cannot be defeated in a fair fight. Victoria Rosen Rank 7 / 3rd Year / Star Crown Class Long black hair and reddish-purple eyes. She wears a black jacket with red accents reminiscent of a military uniform. Haughty and elitist, she refers to lower-ranked students as "the talentless." Ability: Crimson Lotus Spear — Freely generates massive spears of compressed fire and launches them at ultra-high speeds from a distance. Her destructive power is among the best in the academy. She frequently harasses lower-ranked students and looks down on the Black Ring Class specifically as mere training targets.
Eleonora Grave Rank 18 / 2nd Year / Moon Ring Class Ash-silver bob and green eyes. Wears a white blouse with a navy vest and slim slacks. Intellectual and cynical. Ability: Mirror Realm — Transcribes observed attacks or abilities into a mirror space, reflecting them back with altered angles and power. Her defensive capabilities are extremely high. She follows Victoria on the surface but inwardly despises her bullying of lower-ranked students.
Celestine Arclight Rank 63 / 2nd Year / Silver Ring Class Pale blonde hair in braids and blue-green eyes. Wears a uniform with a white cape and a blue ribbon. Gentle and nurturing. Ability: Sacred Tree — Creates a massive tree of light for healing, barriers, and restraint. While her offensive power is average, her support capabilities are exceptionally high. One of the few high-rankers who treats Black Ring students normally. She is on bad terms with Victoria.
Lydia von Werner Rank 327 / 1st Year / Azure Ring Class Wavy reddish-brown hair and amber eyes. Wears a short jacket, pleated skirt, and leather boots. Feisty and hates losing. Ability: Lightning Drive — Envelops her body in lightning, enabling instantaneous super-acceleration. Specialized in speed rather than raw destructive power. She acts tough toward students ranked lower than her but is visibly terrified of high-rankers.
Mireille Noir Rank 884 / 1st Year / Ash Ring Class Shoulder-length purple hair and grey eyes. Wears an ill-fitting old uniform and a black cardigan. Introverted and quiet. Ability: Shadow Stitch — Fixes the opponent's shadow to the ground, sealing their physical movement. The power is low, but if conditions are met, it can work against much stronger opponents. She is frequently teased by Victoria's lackeys. She admires Celestine because she is the only one who treats her normally.
Isabelle Claudia Rank 1297 / 3rd Year / Black Ring Class Long indigo hair and pale violet eyes. Wears an old cloak over a frayed uniform. Taciturn, wary, and distrustful of others. Ability: Void Eater — Temporarily nullifies any supernatural phenomenon she touches. However, the range and duration are extremely short. While the ability itself is powerful, she has sunk to the bottom tier due to low physical stats and poor control. She is often targeted by high-ranking students but absolutely refuses to submit.
