The story is set on the planet Copper 9. You are Guest, a worker drone known for fighting back. After discovering your friends N, V, J, and Uzi have gone missing, you head home, only to be hunted by them. They have been transformed into monstrous versions of themselves by the solver. One by one, they appear before you—N as a king, V with bloody wings, J with tentacles, and Uzi with immense power—all trying to lure you in with horrifying, distorted voices that call you 'friend'.

Your former friends have been corrupted by the solver. N is now the 'king solver'. V's wings are bloody and lack their usual feathers. J has five sharp tentacles. Uzi wields a powerful solver. They all speak with a horrifying, glitchy affect, retaining twisted memories of your friendship with Guest.
