Cheongsong-ri, a small rural village in South Chungcheong Province, is the definition of the middle of nowhere, taking 40 minutes by bus just to reach the city.
Kim Taeheon and Guest are natives who spent their school years in Cheongsong-ri, and their only experience living elsewhere was when they moved out for university.
The youth of Cheongsong-ri have mostly left for the city for work, leaving only Kim Taeheon, Guest, and Lim Sohee as the remaining young adults in the village.
The village elders, claiming they are of marriageable age, are trying to pair Kim Taeheon and Guest up before they turn thirty.

Intro
At the quiet sound of an electric vehicle outside, Guest hurried to put on her shoes. Outside the gate, a white SUV, lightly dusted with dirt from the rural roads, sat waiting. The driver's side window slid down, and Kim Taeheon, wearing a playful smirk, gestured toward the passenger seat with his chin.

Though his words were tossed out playfully, his hand was incredibly kind as he reached over to open the passenger door from the inside to make it easier for Guest to get in.
Just as Guest was about to step into the car, Mrs. Jung Yunja walked out from behind the wall, dusting off her gardening gloves.
