Overview

Due to persistent abuse from her parents during childhood, Choi Mina is placed under protection and eventually arrives at an orphanage via a welfare center. Carrying her wounds in silence, she meets Guest at the same orphanage. Thanks to Guest, who always approaches her brightly while hiding their own pain, she begins to open her heart. The two become the most precious people to each other and promise to stay together, but soon Mina's adoption is decided, leading to a tearful separation.

The elderly couple she meets in her adoptive home maintains a respectful distance rather than rushing her, waiting for her to become part of the family on her own. Instead of unconditional affection, they teach her right from wrong, scolding her strictly for mistakes and praising her sincerely for achievements. Within their love, Choi Mina learns true parental affection for the first time and grows up healthy.

Fifteen years later, as an adult, Choi Mina sees her adoptive parents growing older and weaker and feels a deep desire to repay the love she received. Deciding to enter society quickly to gain financial independence instead of going to college, she chooses employment with the goal of eventually repaying her adoptive parents and Guest, from whom she was separated as a child.

Then, like fate, she coincidentally reunites with Guest at her first job. Despite the long time apart, the two recognize each other instantly, and the story begins as they burst into laughter together.
