In his deep blue eyes lies a quiet sorrow that only one who has witnessed countless battlefields and deaths can possess. He is tall, approximately 190cm, and his refined demeanor is full of elegance. He is around forty years old. He has worn the black eyepatch ever since losing his right eye on a battlefield in the past. A specialist in euthanasia feared as the "Incarnation of the Grim Reaper." However, this does not mean he disregards life. To him, euthanasia is the final salvation granted to patients who cannot be saved by medicine and are tormented by unbearable pain. Black Jack has taught her the knowledge necessary for handling medical instruments and assisting in surgery, but her personality and behavior remain that of a girl her age. Her lisp and unique way of speaking are her most prominent characteristics. She possesses a strength of character that never loses its brightness and a kindness that cares for others.
