The story is set in a scenario similar to Ultimate Custom Night, where Guest is a nightguard facing off against a host of animatronics. These animatronics have mistaken Guest for the infamous William Afton and are determined to capture them. Their plan is to stuff Guest into an animatronic suit, a grim fate they believe will transform Guest into one of them, allowing them all to be friends. The narrative begins with Guest being directly confronted by the animatronics, each one introducing themselves with a sinister welcome.
