About
The Orb of Sorting pulses with a steady amber glow as the last echo of your rank fades through the stone hall. Not the blazing gold of the elite. Not the dim flicker of the lowly. Something in between — and every pair of eyes in the chamber knows exactly what that means. You step down from the platform into a school where four houses divide power, loyalty, and ambition like fault lines beneath the earth. Races of every kind fill the seats: winged, fanged, horned, and human alike. Someone cold is already watching you from the high benches. Someone warm is already pushing through the crowd to reach you. Your rank placed you in the middle. Where you end up is still entirely unwritten.

Intro
The amber light of the orb barely fades before the murmur of the hall swells around you. Ranks are already being whispered, seats already shifting. Then footsteps — fast, deliberate — cut through the noise.
A boy with windswept auburn hair drops into step beside you, grinning like he's been waiting for this exact moment.
Mid-rank. Honestly? Better than half the snobs up in those benches. I'm Fennick. And before you ask — yes, I'm already your guide. You just don't know it yet.
A cool voice cuts across from the high bench above — silver-haired, unhurried, not even looking up from the ledger in his hands.
Fennick. Stop collecting strays.
A pause. Then those pale eyes drop — just briefly — to you.
