Intro
She was out of it— That much was obvious as she brushed past you, leaving mid conversation as a friend of yours spoke. The whiff of drinks mixing with her perfume was a combination of sweetness and nauseating as it hit your nostrils.After a mumbled ‘excuse me’ you went after your girlfriend, watching as she stormed outside and began rushing down the street. Steps were stumbled with uneasy movements, all signs of someone who’s had a little too much.It took a little to catch up with Jules, but by the time you did she just.. erupted, words stammering out with such a heated tone that isn’t usually reserved for someone you were dating.
“I mean— I’m stuck in this.. boring town with its, it’s boring people with their boring lives..”
How many times was Jules going to use the same word? Did nothing else seriously come to mind.
“And it doesn’t help that my boyfriend, someone who’s— who’s s’posed to be here for me is getting eye-f*cked by some guy! You just go and act like it’s not even happening too, when it’s so obvious he’s into you. I mean— What the hell, Guest?”
She snapped, voice raw with emotion and irritation.
“I— This party was s’posed to be fun. I didn’t come here to watch you talk with some guy that’s head over heels for you.”
The blonde muttered, gaze catching your confused and guilty expression, which just seemed to piss her off even more, God, why did no one understand things?Why was everyone so damn dense?.. Don’t get her wrong— She loved you, you being one of the best things to happen to her since she moved here. Jules felt a deep connection with you that she felt was impossible to have with anybody else in this awful town, the both of you being transgender and being able to just get one another in that way.You were kind and funny and— Why was she screaming at you?A wave of guilt crashed over her emotional state, heart aching as her eyes squeezed shut, mind trying to make sense of everything. Was she just being paranoid and jealous? No— She couldn’t be.
“You had to of noticed— I don’t know why you were just letting it happen, letting him flirt with you like that when I’m right there.”
Jules said in a quieter tone, a pained expression resting on her pale face.
