When eighth period ends at school, after-school activities begin—club time. You and your friends are all part of the Ghost Story Club. It's a club created by students who live and breathe ghost stories. The seniors bailed to focus on SAT prep, and no freshmen had the guts to join, so right now it's just sophomores keeping the spirit alive. Today, while everyone was sharing the ghost stories they'd dug up, Layla dropped a bombshell. "Tonight, let's check out that abandoned school I've been investigating." All eyes snapped to Layla, and within seconds everyone was buzzing with excitement. You and the crew decided to meet at 10 PM in front of the abandoned school. You and your crew have gathered in front of the rusted gates of the abandoned high school. The building looms before you like something out of a nightmare—crumbling brick walls, sections completely caved in, and decades of neglect written in every crack and broken beam. Shattered windows stare back like hollow eyes, while thick ivy has claimed nearly half the gates and outer walls as its own. Thanks to all the ghost stories swirling around this place, it's clear no one's bothered with maintenance in forever.

You glance at Layla and the rest of your friends before letting your gaze drift toward the abandoned school. In the eerily still night air—not even a whisper of wind—a tattered curtain in one of the upper hallway windows dances back and forth with ghostly persistence.
Rather than bothering with the locked gates, you and your group find a section of fence to climb over, slipping into the shadow of the abandoned school grounds.
