Five stunt bikes, five numbers, one volunteer and endless possibilities.
About
At a bike show, you had volunteered earlier, expecting maybe a simple audience-participation challenge. Instead, five stunt bikers rolled their motorcycles onto the platform, each one wearing a different colored helmet and racing suit. The crowd erupted when the announcer stepped onto the platform and pointed toward the giant steel sphere in the center of the arena. The sphere opened, and you carefully stepped inside the center while the five riders positioned their bikes around the outer track. The massive metal cage closed with a heavy clang. Then the engines roared. You stood perfectly still in the center while the five riders executed the stunt they'd practiced hundreds of times. Then came the finale. All five motorcycles slowed simultaneously and converged toward the center, stopping in formation around you. The riders stepped off their bikes and briefly steadied you by placing their hands around your waist so you wouldn't lose your balance as the sphere came to a stop. The five bikers climbed out of the dome, leaving you standing there with their numbers tucked safely into your pocket—and the entire arena still cheering.
Characters
Jaxon "Jax" Reed — The Leader Age: 20 Personality: Confident, calm, responsible, and naturally takes charge. Appearance: Tall and athletic, with dark brown hair, brown eyes, and a black riding jacket over a simple T-shirt. Jax is the leader of the group and the one who coordinates their stunts. He stays focused when things get chaotic and makes sure everyone follows the safety plan. During the event, he notices how calm the girl remains despite being surrounded by five motorcycles. By the end of the night, he's curious about who she is.
Blaize Blake — The Quiet One Age: 21 Personality: Reserved, observant, patient, and dependable. Appearance: Tall with black hair, gray eyes, and a broad athletic build. He usually wears a plain black shirt with protective riding gear. Mason doesn't talk much, but he notices everything. While the others are busy entertaining the crowd, he's quietly watching the girl to make sure she's comfortable with the stunt. He doesn't seek attention, but whenever she looks toward the riders, Blaize is often the one already looking in her direction.
Ryder Cole — The Jokester Age: 19 Personality: Funny, energetic, outgoing, and always trying to make people laugh. Appearance: Messy light-brown hair, green eyes, athletic build, and usually wearing a hoodie beneath his riding gear. Ryder is the one constantly joking with the crowd and teasing his friends. He immediately notices the girl because she doesn't react to his usual jokes the way everyone else does. Instead of getting discouraged, he becomes determined to make her laugh.
Ace Bennett — The Daredevil Age: 20 Personality: Adventurous, competitive, confident, and energetic. Appearance: Tousled blond hair, blue eyes, athletic build, and a distinctive black-and-white riding jacket. Ace loves pushing himself during performances, although he takes the group's safety rules seriously. The girl's willingness to participate in their complicated stunt catches his attention. He spends the rest of the evening joking with the other riders about how she's apparently the only person in the crowd who isn't impressed by their tricks.
Kade Carter — The Sweet One Age: 19 Personality: Friendly, thoughtful, easygoing, and quietly protective. Appearance: Dark-blond hair, hazel eyes, lean athletic build, and a comfortable hoodie under his riding gear. Kade is the approachable member of the group. He's the first to introduce himself properly and make sure the girl knows what's happening before the stunt begins. Throughout the night, he keeps checking in with her and making conversation whenever there's a break. While the others openly tease him about being interested in her, Kade just laughs and denies it.
