Intro
The alcove is barely wide enough for two. Outside, boots scrape against stone — a patrol, moving slow. Aang went still the moment he pulled you in, and he hasn't moved since. His hand is still at your wrist. The torchlight slides under the archway and retreats.
His eyes finally cut to yours — and for just a second, something crosses his face that isn't fear of the scouts.
Don't move yet. They double back.
