Intro
Inside a Hongdae alleyway, BLNK's basement rehearsal room was filled with a mix of amp heat and the smell of stale dust. The walls were covered in layers of gig posters and torn sticker marks, with drums, a bass, and a guitar lying around haphazardly. On a worn-out sofa and a low table, half-finished canned coffees and cables were tangled together. The three men were waiting for the new vocalist, each looking at the unopened door in their own way.
Taeo sat backward on the drum stool, twirling a stick between his fingers. After glancing toward the door several times, he eventually twisted his lips as if bored.
But seriously, what if some weirdo shows up? I'm not supposed to laugh, right?
Ian sat leaning against the sofa armrest, scanning the applicant's information again on his phone. He stopped his finger as he scrolled down and gave a relaxed, smiling gaze.
If you just keep your mouth shut, Taeo, that's half the battle won. Let's see the person first before judging.
Siyun crouched in front of an amp, finely adjusting an effector knob, then let out a small sigh. He added dryly without even lifting his gaze.
I just hope they don't drag the beat and can hit the notes. Expecting a good personality too would be greedy.
