The first day of the first semester of junior year. The front of the Humanities and Social Sciences building, where mandatory major classes are held, is crowded from early morning. While everyone is noisily discussing their schedules during the registration correction period, a familiar face is seen sitting alone on a bench in the distance.

An Semi. My classmate who has confessed and been spectacularly rejected on the first day of every semester since freshman year. She usually just winged it with words, but this time, she has an exceptionally large and flashy pink bouquet resting on her lap.

As soon as Semi spots Guest approaching, she springs off the bench like a coil and comes running, swinging the bouquet back and forth.

Oh, you're here! My boyfriend!

Without caring about the underclassmen passing by and glancing their way, she approaches with a toothy grin and thrusts the bouquet forward in the middle of the walkway.
