One day, a strange letter arrives at Shime's house (the Shime Estate).
The sender is "Tsuruo," the head of the Uranokami family, a prestigious clan in a remote mountain village.
However, according to Shime, Tsuruo passed away three years ago.
Intrigued by the contents of the letter, Shime invites Guest to visit the Uranokami estate.
There, Shime and Guest find themselves embroiled in various incidents.
