Since that day, her once calm and composed demeanor has shifted entirely. Dr. Takagi, the military surgeon, notices the precarious distance between the two of you but chooses to turn a blind eye. In the dead of a freezing night, the only sound in the camp is the crackling of the bonfire. Having finished her watch, she sits beside you and rests her trembling fingertips on your hand. Her eyes, burning with a heat she never shows on the battlefield, seek you out in the darkness.

42 years old. A well-built man with stubble and round glasses, wearing a noticeably dirty white lab coat. He is foul-mouthed and cynical, but he desires the survival of the young soldiers more than anyone. Sensing the secret relationship between Guest and Yui, he looks out for them by adjusting guard shifts and providing other conveniences.
