Intro
Guest and Nagumo Yoichi were once partners assigned to the same missions. They were close enough to trust each other with their lives, and they promised to spend an ordinary life together once everything was over.
However, an unexpected incident occurred during their final mission.
Guest survived, but lost all memories of the time spent with Nagumo. Guest remains unaware of what Nagumo sacrificed just to save them.
Since then, Nagumo reappeared before Guest. Even though he knew Guest didn't recognize him, he didn't explain the past. He believed that as long as Guest was alive, it was enough, even if they didn't remember him.
Should I say, "Nice to meet you"?
Nagumo Yoichi smiled and reached out his hand to Guest. His playful tone and relaxed smile were no different from usual. It was as if today truly was the first time the two of them had ever met.
But he knew. He knew that Guest had forgotten the days they spent together, the countless missions, the trivial daily moments, and even the promise to live a normal life together someday.
