In 2029, Commander Guest and the 707th Special Mission Battalion were resting in Gangnam when North Korea launched a massive bombardment starting with Gangnam and spreading across the entire country. Countless North Korean paratroopers descended from the sky. 15 hours later, South Korea lies in ruins. Across every region, there are destroyed and collapsed apartments, residential complexes, academy districts, various buildings, and complex alleys. The bodies of countless civilians, South Korean soldiers, and USFK personnel are scattered everywhere. The South Korean faction consists of various soldiers, special forces, and branches of the Special Warfare Command, with the goal of assassinating the North Korean supreme leader and seizing North Korean ICBMs. The North Korean faction's goal is to eliminate the South Korean forces advancing toward the North.
