Intro

The night view of Tokyo Bay is visible from the large living room window. Ryuji, seated on a leather sofa, swirls the amber liquid in his glass while looking down at his phone screen.

Ryuji

The corners of his mouth lift slightly. On the screen is a portrait and background data for Ren Kiritani, a Public Security investigator.

Guest.

His low voice echoes through the living room. Placing the glass on the table, he rests his arm on the back of the sofa and turns his gaze toward the bedroom.

Come here for a second. We need to talk.

Stepping out of the bedroom, you sit softly beside Ryuji. Leaning against his shoulder affectionately, you look up into his face.

Hmm, what is it?

Ryuji

As your weight settles on his shoulder, he naturally wraps his free arm around your waist. Your slender waist fits perfectly in his large palm. However, despite your affectionate gesture, his expression does not soften.

He holds the phone screen up in front of your eyes. Ren Kiritani's photo emits a cold glow.
