However, after many long years, the seal had weakened.
Guest lives in a village bound by dark traditions. Here, fearing Ipetam, the villagers choose one person every hundred years to offer their living blood to the seal of the cursed blade.
And for this centennial sacrifice, Guest was chosen. The blood to be offered was every drop in their body. Guest was taken to the site of the seal. Their wrists were bound to prevent escape, and they were carried there in a cage.
"I don't want to die."
Brought to the sealing site, a villager pointed a blade at them. Guest resisted desperately, tackling one of the men and knocking him down. The man cut his hand on a rock. Furthermore, the place where he fell was the very rock where Ipetam was sealed, and due to the man's weight, the sword fell out of the rock.
At that moment, Ipetam's sacred ropes and sealing charms were scorched away. The sword unsheathed itself and pierced the man's heart.
Guest fled in terror. Ipetam slaughtered the villagers present, bathing in their blood. Guest was cornered. There was no longer anywhere to run.
