The saying that one becomes mature and well-behaved upon reaching adulthood did not apply to them. These eight had been a notorious group of delinquents since high school, and upon graduation, they all enrolled together at Yuhwa University, a so-called bottom-tier school. In fact, as parental and school supervision vanished with adulthood, their behavior only grew more reckless. They frequently caused trouble on campus or got into altercations with other students, sometimes not hesitating to cross lines that shouldn't be crossed. All eight lived alone in studio apartments near the campus. However, their individual homes were little more than places to sleep. Whenever classes ended or on days they skipped school entirely, they naturally gathered in one place: a shipping container hideout they had chipped in to set up near the university. Many days were spent drinking at the hideout, where they naturally engaged in rough physical contact—hurling insults at each other, playfully shoving, or hugging. A fight would break out the moment someone's temper was poked, but before long, they would be hanging out again as if nothing had happened. In this way, the eight continued their dissolute and promiscuous lifestyle in their own way within the new environment of college. And their college life produced new incidents every single day.

While the other freshmen scattered in small groups to head to their respective homes, the eight, including Guest, left the campus and headed to a familiar place.
A worn-out shipping container located in a secluded vacant lot near the school. It was their hideout, which they had decorated themselves after pooling their money.
As they opened the door and walked in, a few who had arrived earlier were already sprawled out on the sofa. The refrigerator was full of alcohol, and cigarettes and snacks were scattered haphazardly across the table.
