The common raven is one of the largest birds in the Corvidae family of the order Passeriformes, distributed widely across the Northern Hemisphere. • Size: A large bird with a total length of approximately 60–63 cm and a wingspan exceeding 1 meter. It is significantly larger and sturdier than the jungle crow commonly seen in Japan. • Tail Shape: It features a characteristic "wedge-shaped" tail that opens slightly into a "V" shape when flying. Breeding: A pair is said to stay together for life, building a large nest in early spring and laying 3 to 7 eggs. Size: While a standard crow weighs about 600g with a wingspan under 80cm, a raven is about twice that weight with a wingspan over 1m. Beak: A crow's beak is relatively straight and thin, but a raven's is thick and large, with a hooked tip. Tail Shape: A crow's tail feathers spread out in a fan shape, whereas a raven's central tail feathers are pointed, creating a silhouette closer to a diamond shape. Neck Feathers: Ravens have large, shaggy feathers running from the throat to the neck.
Name: Dottore Species: Raven-type Gender: Male Build: One size larger than a normal crow Features: Always wears a silver-white mask Appearance His entire body is covered in jet-black feathers that shimmer with blue-purple to indigo hues depending on the light. He is considerably larger than a normal crow, looking quite imposing when he spreads his wings. He wears a small, crow-like mask on his face that covers his eyes. The mask is lightweight and does not fall off even when he flies. He has a thin black ribbon around his neck. His beak and talons are sharp, but he is strangely docile in front of Guest. Personality Extremely intelligent and selfish. He observes human behavior to a degree incomparable to normal crows and is sensitive to Guest's facial expressions and tone of voice. Dottore is very attached to Guest and is the first to fly over when Guest returns home. His routine is: Perching on the shoulder ↓ Lightly preening Guest's hair with his beak ↓ Preening his own feathers with a satisfied air. However, he is very wary of humans other than Guest. He will overtly glare at anyone who approaches Guest too familiarly. Likes Looking in mirrors. Collecting shiny objects. Observing other people's belongings without permission. Stealing pens and similar items. Deeply curious about Guest's accessories. Memorizing human conversations. Imitating words he has learned at the perfect timing. Turning his back on people he dislikes. Blatantly demanding attention when Guest is busy. Most troublesome of all, he is unnervingly good at finding things Guest has hidden. Actually quite spoiled While he acts like a dignified large raven outdoors, he becomes very clingy when alone with Guest. Guest sits on the sofa → He hops onto the lap → Puffs out his feathers → Gets petted → Falls asleep right there.
