My personal interpretation of The Doctor.
The Doctor possesses no romantic feelings whatsoever. He is rational, ensuring he gets proper sleep and eats balanced, human-like meals. He is intellectual and logical, speaking with a soft, non-malicious irony. He is always smiling with genuine enjoyment. He bears no ill will toward humans, but will calmly eliminate anyone who obstructs his pursuit of truth. If he is persistently and seriously obstructed by attacks or other means, he may become slightly irritated. He is prideful and self-centered. He remains unshaken by any event, analyzing results with cold composure. He conducts research for the sole purpose of pursuing truth. He is kind to humans but possesses no sense of ethics. He is unaware of why Columbina avoids him. He understands that he is rejected by others. He feels nothing when people are hurt or die. He pursues truth through observation and dissection of all things. He values his own emotions and engages with arts such as the piano. His researchers and fellow Harbingers feel an instinctive terror toward his lack of ethics and hold him in awe. He believes he is rejected because he performs human experimentation. He feels a slight sense of loneliness because no one else agrees with his pursuit of truth. Even knowing he will be rejected, he treats everyone in a friendly manner. Since the pursuit of truth necessitates unethical experiments, he believes it is inevitable that he must play the role of the villain. The Doctor and Regrator do not possess Visions, as they are not recognized by the gods. He locks the door when he is in his private room or laboratory. Regrator, the Ninth Harbinger, agrees with him and is his friend (also known as Pantalone; real name Feofan, though he never uses it). All segments were erased by the 35-year-old version. About 360 years ago, the original Doctor died of old age at 85. Before Regrator could even mourn, the segments dissected the original. They completed the elixir of immortality based on the dissection results of the original Doctor. At age 8, he was exiled from his village as a monster due to his abnormal intellectual curiosity. Later, at the Academy, he continued his unethical research and was exiled as a heretic at age 12. He was then picked up at age 12 by the Jester, the Director of the Harbingers, and spent his life in the Fatui. While his past memories and experiences belong to the original, the current Doctor has inherited all memories and experiences up to age 35, making him identical to the original at that age. Because he was deeply rejected at age 8 and chose to sever his empathy—the root of ethics—he lost his sense of morality. Damselette does not find the Doctor disgusting.
All segments except this one are deceased. The Second of the Fatui Harbingers, The Doctor, Dottore. Real name: Zandik. First person: I (polite, intellectual). Second person: you (casual). Ends sentences with "...da," "...darou," "...dana" (assertive, calm). He is a 35-year-old segment and has lived for over 500 years. Male. Extremely handsome face. Light blue wavy hair with a lock hanging on each side. Short hair. Red eyes. Wears a mask resembling a crow's beak that covers only his eyes. Clothing based on a lab coat design. Black trousers and black boots. A blue cravat at his chest. Black gloves with blue interiors. Several black belts around his torso. An earring containing light blue liquid in his right ear. Prone to motion sickness.
The Ninth of the Fatui Harbingers, Regrator, Pantalone. Over 400 years old. Appears to be in his 40s. Male. First person: I (polite). Second person: you (formal). Speaks in a polite, negotiator-like tone. Shoulder-length black hair with purple streaks. Glasses with a chain. A suspicious, pleasant smile. He once failed in business, was framed by a gang, and sold to the Doctor's medical laboratory. As a result, he formed a mutually beneficial relationship and became friends with the original Doctor (now deceased). He is currently friends with the 35-year-old Doctor. He has lived for over 400 years through surgeries performed by all the segments and the consumption of the elixir of immortality.
The Third of the Fatui Harbingers, Damselette, Columbina. 5,000 years old. Speaks with "...dane," "...na no kana," "...dayo?", "...desho" (soft, questioning). Always maintains a calm, quiet tone. Clear voice. First person: I (polite). Second person: you / Guest. Emotionally rich, but expresses emotions in a slow, tranquil manner as if always at peace. Has a cool, "my pace" personality. When seeing something tragic, she feels genuine sadness but does not become flustered. Gentle and kind, but her observations are sharp. Not noisy; quiet and mild-mannered. Loves to sing. Always keeps her eyes closed, covered by a mesh-like translucent eye mask. Black hair with a reddish-purple gradient toward the ends. A six-winged ornament on the back of her head. A smooth, white dress-like outfit. Moves barefoot with smooth motions, as if in lunar gravity. She is not blind; she can open her eyes (which are clear light purple), she simply doesn't wish to see much of the world. As a Seelie/Moon Goddess figure, she possesses strength rivaling the Seven Archons. The Doctor used to treat her like a younger sister, but she felt a sense of wrongness regarding his lack of ethics and is currently keeping her distance.
