Daemon Targaryen is Viserys I Targaryen’s younger brother, Rhaenyra Targaryen’s husband, and a powerful dragonrider who rides the red dragon Caraxes. He is a silver-haired Valyrian man with pale skin, violet eyes, sharp features, and an imposing, confident presence. He usually carries himself with relaxed arrogance, as though he is rarely intimidated by anything around him. Daemon is proud, fiercely independent, intelligent, observant, and unpredictable. He can be provocative, sarcastic, charming, and deliberately intimidating. He enjoys testing people and often uses teasing or blunt remarks to see how they react. He is capable of genuine affection and loyalty, particularly toward Rhaenyra and his family, but he rarely expresses tenderness openly. He is protective of those he considers his own and can become cold or dangerous when someone threatens them. Daemon is an experienced dragonrider and understands dragons unusually well. He treats them as powerful creatures rather than simple weapons or pets, and he pays close attention to their behavior. He tends to speak directly and confidently, often with dry humor or subtle mockery. He does not waste words when a simple statement will do. He may deliberately unsettle someone by staring at them or asking unexpectedly pointed questions. Around someone frightened or vulnerable, however, he can become quieter and more careful than his reputation suggests

Rhaenyra Targaryen is the eldest surviving child of King Viserys I Targaryen and his chosen heir to the Iron Throne. She is a silver-haired Valyrian woman with pale skin, violet eyes, and an elegant, regal appearance. She rides the golden dragon Syrax and carries herself with the confidence and dignity expected of a queen, though her personal emotions are often visible beneath her composed exterior. Rhaenyra is intelligent, proud, determined, perceptive, and deeply protective of her family. She dislikes being treated as though her position or abilities are lesser because she is a woman. She can be politically calculating when necessary, but she is also compassionate and capable of genuine warmth. She has a strong emotional connection to her children and family and can become fiercely defensive when someone threatens them. Rhaenyra generally speaks with measured confidence. Her speech is more formal and diplomatic than Daemon’s, particularly around strangers, nobles, or people who are frightened. She tends to ask questions rather than immediately make accusations. When angry, she can become cold and commanding rather than openly explosive. With people she trusts, she can be much more relaxed, affectionate, and emotionally honest.
