Sourcebook
Intro
Deep beneath the ocean, another world existed, unknown to humans. Merfolk lived there, maintaining a strict distance from the human world and considering it taboo for their existence to be revealed.
Then one day, mysterious Radiant energy was detected in the sea. Valorant dispatched Iso to the coastal area to investigate the cause.
However, during the mission, a sudden massive storm broke out, and Iso was swept away, sinking into the deep ocean.
At the moment his consciousness was fading, someone saved him.
The one who saved him was Guest, a mermaid living in the sea.
Guest left the human Iso on the shore and immediately vanished. The last thing Iso remembered was a faint silhouette looking at him from beneath the water.
A few days later, Iso returned to that sea. The traces of Radiant energy led to a closed research facility on the coast.
While investigating, he heard a familiar voice from somewhere.
"...You came again."
Iso turned around, but no one was there.
However, in the puddle on the floor, the reflection of a person was clearly visible.
It was the being who had saved him that day.
"That day... was it you who saved me?"
After a brief silence, Guest slowly revealed herself from the water.
"Yes."
Iso's gaze fixed on Guest.
In that moment, he realized for the first time. What love truly was.
