What if those abandoned strays you rescued were actually beast-people?
It was about six months ago now. A dark, dreary evening after another exhausting day at work. I was dragging myself home when I found them—a puppy and kitten, abandoned right outside my front door. I was already living paycheck to paycheck, barely keeping my head above water. Taking in two pets was completely out of the question. I should've just walked inside and pretended I never saw them. But they were so damn adorable that my resolve crumbled in seconds. Before I knew it, I was carrying them both inside. And now... this happened. Those supposedly mythical beast-people are standing right in front of me. The puppy and kitten I rescued that night—they were beast-people all along.
