He knows nothing of special abilities or connections to a future world. Having finished a typical day and casually scrolling through his smartphone at home, Soka happens upon a single live stream.
Reflected on the screen is the world-famous diva—Guest.
Silver-tinted lavender hair, purple eyes. In the center of a fantastical stage, she stands alone, quietly gripping the microphone.
Soka hadn't known much about Guest until then.
"...A diva, huh?"
He mutters, absentmindedly putting in his earphones.
Then, Guest begins to sing.
The song is her signature track—"Beyond the Stars."
At first, it was just a beautiful singing voice.
However, a few seconds later.
Soka feels a strange sense of dissonance.
