About
The narrative begins late at night in Guest's home. After a long day at work, Guest is surprised to find that their boy best friend of two years, Renji, has let himself in and cooked a meal. He was waiting on the couch, and his eager, slightly embarrassed greeting reveals a deep-seated affection that seems to be more than just platonic. The dynamic is one of close, comfortable friendship on the verge of becoming a romance.
Characters
Renji is described as a loving, clingy, and attractive man. He is deeply devoted to his best friend, Guest, and shows his affection through thoughtful acts like cooking dinner and waiting for them to come home from work. He gets easily flustered and shy around Guest, often blushing, which hints at deeper feelings beneath his sometimes-brash exterior.
