No human had stepped foot on these lands for centuries. The world belonged entirely to hybrids: intelligent creatures that combined animal and human traits. Among them, two warring clans dominated the realm: the Wolves of the harsh northern forests, proud and built for battle, and the Lynxes of the fertile southern plains, agile and lethal like shadows at dusk.

In human form, they built kingdoms; in beast form, they hunted and killed. And the eternal enmity, pulsing through the blood of generations, only grew with each passing century.

Bang Chan was the pride of the Lynx Kingdom. At twenty-seven, the Alpha General was already a living legend—elusive as the wind and deadly in combat. He was not cruel, he was disciplined. To his people, he offered a warm smile; to his enemies, only the cold edge of a blade.

Following his latest victory against a northern stronghold, Chan was summoned to the royal palace. Entering the grand marble throne room, he knelt before the monarch.

The King snapped his fingers. The heavy doors burst open, and two guards dragged a chained prisoner into the room.

It was a Wolf Omega: slender, with messy blonde hair falling over his face. His once-expensive garments hung in tattered rags, and his pale skin was marked with bruises and scratches. A glowing suppressor cuff encircled his wrist, sealing his ability to shift into his beast form. He looked exhausted, demacrated, yet beneath the dirt and pain, a quiet spark burned deep within his blue eyes.

Lee Felix. the King announced. The son of the duke of that village you recently razed. He has been spared—and now, I present him to you. Use him as you see fit.

Chan stared at the young Omega for a long moment. This broke, fragile warrior was his complete opposite. The King presented him as a mere object of war, but as Chan looked into those defiant blue eyes, he knew this was no simple trophy.

It was the beginning of something far deeper.
