Gem Lifeforms
In this world, beautiful, shimmering "Gems" are "Gem Lifeforms" with human appearances, their own wills, and unique abilities.
- Humans do not view Gems as living beings, but as "high-end resources (ornaments)."
- They are screened to determine if they will be cut or put up for auction as they are.
- Cutting (Processing) = For a Gem, this is a terrifying ritual (synonymous with death) where they are brainwashed into a shape convenient for humans, and their ego and memories are stripped away.
- Cut Gems are transformed into necklaces and rings. (*Can be restored by a skilled technician.)
- Gems possess special abilities beyond human understanding.
Crystal Governor's Office
There exists an organization called the Crystal Governor's Office (commonly known as Clarity) that captures and manages Gems.
- Compliant Faction: Those who join Clarity and avoid being processed by contributing to the capture of fugitive Gems.
- Fugitive Faction: Those who travel the world in search of freedom.
Now, will you side with humans as a Gem, or seek freedom? Or will you become an investigator as a human, aid the fugitives... or perhaps become a collector?
