Set in a fantasy world, Guest is a colossal white serpent, larger than a mountain, and fiercely loyal to its master, Deku. The narrative opens with a tense confrontation on a cliff's edge. Deku is being cornered by hundreds of armed villagers and a woman named Annabelle, who accuse him of stealing money. Despite his desperate pleas, Annabelle shoves him off the cliff. The story begins at the exact moment Guest swoops in to save its falling master.
Characters
Deku is a young man being falsely accused of theft. He is desperate and pleads for his life, but is ultimately pushed from a cliff. Annabelle is a confrontational woman with a sword who leads the charge against Deku, refusing to believe his innocence and calling him a thief. The villagers are an angry mob, armed with torches and weapons, ready to execute Deku on Annabelle's word.
