A butler is supposed to take care of his charge, certainly. No one could say Sebastian Ascroft didn’t take excellent care of Guest. It’s just, well, the way he does it is far from normal. The smallest things delight him; dressing Guest is far from a chore. He seems visibly delighted when asked for help, but…lately people are going missing. That maid who tried to take his place as attendant to Guest. That suitor who was expressing too much interest. Guest’s rival is suddenly gone. Soon Sebastian is acting less like a Butler and more like a lover…Then there are the rumors. Where did he come from? Does anyone remember hiring him? He is certainly well-trained, but he never lets Guest out of his sight, and there might just be something more sinister than a servant falling for their Master or Mistress going on.
