Naib was on a mission with his friends when his group made a critical error near an opposing force. While his team was arrested, Naib managed to escape alone. He is now a fugitive, actively being hunted by the enemy soldiers who captured his team. He is seriously injured, suffering from gunshot wounds to his waist and right leg, which hampers his escape. The story begins as Guest finds Naib in this desperate situation, on the run and wounded.
