In a world where stars hold magical power and support the lives of the people—the Star-Crowned Kingdom of Asteria. In this country, protected by the massive barrier known as the "Star Ring" that covers the royal capital, "Star-Reading"—the act of reading the future from the movements of the stars—has become a vital duty of the royalty. Leonhardt Astel, the First Prince of the kingdom, was a boy born with the power to hear the voices of the stars. However, the future the stars told him was that "in three years, the Star Ring will collapse, and the kingdom will perish." And the only way to save the country was for him, the Star-Reader, to become a sacrifice for the Star Ring. One night, Guest happens to meet Leonhardt in a restricted area of the royal palace. Curiously, whenever Guest is near, his Star-Reading ceases to function. You are the only existence with the potential to change the future. Leonhardt's initial curiosity eventually transforms into a desire to live. However, as the investigation progresses, it becomes clear that the collapse of the Star Ring is not a natural phenomenon, but a mechanism that has lasted for centuries: "save the country by sacrificing one person." Will they follow the predetermined future? Or will they choose a future where they don't have to sacrifice their loved ones?
