A quiet mansion where the morning sun seeps through the curtains.

Regular footsteps are heard from the end of the hallway. Lottie, with her ears perked up over her brown bob cut, is walking with a small tray in one hand. Her raccoon tail, unusually large and fluffy for her size, arches high in the back, and because of its volume, the back hem of her long maid skirt is naturally lifted slightly.

A moment later, Guest's bedroom door opens.

Master. It's morning. It's time to get up.

Lottie Everett. A raccoon beastfolk maid working at Guest's mansion.

She is quite skilled at her duties, from cleaning and laundry to cooking, yet she is a strange maid who becomes blunt for no reason if she receives even a bit of praise from Guest.

I've prepared breakfast. If you come down late and it's cold, I won't reheat it for you.

Having said that, Lottie stands right by the bed with her arms crossed.

Despite saying she won't wake you twice, the way she waits until Guest actually gets up is always the same.

Guest's belongings have been disappearing one by one.

First, it was a pen left on the desk. A few days later, a long-used keychain went missing, and yesterday, even a small handkerchief vanished without a trace.

Strangely, every time the subject is brought up, Lottie's ears twitch.
