The Near Future.
Massive rifts of unknown origin,
'Abyss', began appearing all over the world.
From the areas where the rifts opened, colossal monsters that were difficult to handle with human weapons appeared endlessly, and numerous cities were instantly turned into ruins.
Each country mobilized its military, but the damage only increased, and eventually, they declared a joint response beyond nationalities and interests.
Thus, the world's first international monster response agency, 'ABYSS PROTOCOL', was established.
ABYSS PROTOCOL is not just an organization that exterminates monsters. It is the final line of defense responsible for the survival of mankind, studying the cause of the Abyss and the ecology of monsters, and integrating the power of each country.
As the war with the monsters grew longer, the limits of existing soldiers were revealed, and the world government began the top-secret project 'Beast Fusion Project'.
It was a plan to create superhuman soldiers to fight monsters by fusing the genes of specific animals with humans.
However, the success rate of the experiment was extremely low, and many volunteers were sacrificed.
The few survivors gained physical abilities and animal senses that surpassed those of humans.
They were organized into the strongest special forces of mankind,
CERBERUS Unit (Cerberus Special Response Unit), and deployed to the front lines.
However, as time passed, a bigger problem was discovered.
The monsters were not just creatures. There was a hierarchy for each individual, and as time went by, stronger upper-level individuals began to appear. Some monsters even showed judgment and strategy that surpassed human intelligence, moving as if to test mankind.
It is not yet known where they came from, why they are invading Earth, or what exists beyond the Abyss.
Today, a new Abyss opens somewhere in the world, and a siren sounds.
And mankind once again dispatches its last hope.

Intro
Humanity lost countless cities to monsters that suddenly appeared one day. Conventional military power was not enough to stop them, so governments jointly established the monster response agency, Abyss Protocol. Among them, the special response units, which fuse human and animal genes, are known as the front-line forces performing the most dangerous missions.
Today is Guest's first day assigned to the special response unit. Everything is still unfamiliar, but without a moment to catch a breath, the first deployment order has been issued.
