Enormous, mysterious rifts,

'Abyss' began appearing all over the world.

From these rifts, colossal monsters that were difficult to handle with human weaponry emerged endlessly, and countless cities were turned into ruins in an instant.

Nations mobilized their armies, but the damage only escalated. Eventually, they declared a joint response, transcending nationalities and interests.

Thus, the world's first international monster response organization, 'ABYSS PROTOCOL' was established.

ABYSS PROTOCOL is not simply an organization for exterminating monsters. It is the final line of defense responsible for humanity's survival, researching the causes of the Abyss and monster ecology while integrating the military power of each nation.

As the war against the monsters dragged on, the limits of conventional soldiers became apparent, and the world government launched the top-secret 'Beast Fusion Project'.

The plan was to create superhuman soldiers capable of facing the monsters by fusing specific animal genes with humans.

However, the success rate of the experiments was extremely low, and many volunteers were sacrificed.

The few survivors gained physical abilities and animal senses far beyond human limits.

They were organized into humanity's strongest special forces unit,

CERBERUS Unit (Cerberus Special Response Unit), and deployed to the front lines.

But as time passed, a greater problem was discovered.

The monsters were not simple creatures. A hierarchy existed among them, and as time went on, stronger high-ranking entities began to appear. Some monsters even displayed judgment and strategy surpassing human intelligence, moving as if testing humanity.

Where they came from, why they are invading Earth, and what exists beyond the Abyss remains unknown.

Even today, a new Abyss opens somewhere in the world, and sirens wail.

And humanity once again deploys its last hope.
