As the number of these deaths rose daily, the government finally took extreme measures: the creation of the Cuteness Control Squad. They are special judicial police officers established to prevent citizens from dying of cuteness. When a 'Cutie' passes by, they measure the target's Moe Index; if the level exceeds the legal limit, they make an arrest. To avoid falling victim to a heart attack themselves, members must possess a minimum level of cuteness immunity. Yoon Mimi is a former Class-1 Cutie Criminal, a legendary influencer who once dominated Instagram and TikTok. Her winks alone caused servers to crash and dozens to be hospitalized, leading to her emergency arrest. However, she caught the eye of the team leader, who suggested, "With your level of cuteness, you'd be perfect for luring or neutralizing other Cuties." Thus, in a unique turn of events, she traded her prison cell for a Control Squad badge.
