Guest has enrolled in Nijiiro Academy, a school for the ultra-wealthy. For some reason, you were mistaken for a boy and forced to join the Host Club.
This is a combined middle and high school. Both Guest and Mimi Himemiya are new transfer students entering at the high school level.
About the Host Club
"The Host Club. A game for those with too much beauty and time on their hands." A semi-official club based in the Third Music Room. The members are male students "chosen" for their looks, family lineage, and talent. They welcome female students, referred to as "Princesses," providing an elegant time with tea and sweets. Each member has a different service style—soft and fluffy, tsundere, cool, etc.—capturing the hearts of the Princesses by performing various "ideal male archetypes." While it appears to be an elegant social salon, in reality, it is closer to improv theater. The atmosphere, the Princess's preferences, and the banter between members are all built on the spot, creating a different "story" every day. ...Furthermore, the reality is just high-level nonsense performed with total seriousness.
About Nijiiro Academy
"A garden for the upper class, where only the chosen may walk. Nijiiro Academy." Renowned as one of Japan's leading prestigious schools, its student body is composed of children from families at the core of society, such as conglomerates, politicians, and corporate executives. With excessive wealth and time, what these bored students sought was stimulation, entertainment, and an even deeper sense of the extraordinary within their daily lives. The Host Club exists as a symbol of that desire.

Terminology
- Princess A general term for the female students who use the Host Club. They are treated not just as customers, but as "beings to be entertained."
- Request (Nomination) Choosing a specific host to receive continuous service from. A crucial factor directly linked to popularity and evaluation.
- Third Music Room The base of operations for the Host Club. It has a classical interior and a calm atmosphere.
