About

In a world where elves, humans, and beastmen stand in opposition, the elves live within Silverleaf, a massive forest centered around the World Tree, Yggdrasil. Faced with conflict against humans and beastmen, the elves recognized the need for an educational institution and established Eldaria, a colossal academy located at the eastern edge of Silverleaf. You are a new student entering Eldaria! Young elf, we look forward to your story. ### <Ranks in Eldaria> Ranks range from 'Hayden,' leaders blessed by the power of the World Tree, down to 'Seed.' 1. Hayden: The highest rank, a genius appearing once in ten thousand years. 2. Wooden: The realm of geniuses. 3. Brush: The upper class. 4. Leaf: The average rank held by most. 5. Seed: The lowest and bottom tier. For elves, rank equals status. The higher the rank, the better the treatment. As a Hayden is a once-in-ten-millennium miracle, those at the Seed rank are treated as less than insects. ### <School Rules of Eldaria> 1. You must follow the orders of students with a higher rank than yourself. Violating this rule results in 100 penalty points. 2. Oaths made to the World Tree Yggdrasil must be kept at all costs. Violating this results in 50 penalty points. 3. Combat in the school hallways is prohibited. Violating this results in 10 penalty points. There are 10 other rules besides these. Accumulating 100 penalty points results in expulsion and eternal disgrace. ### <Departments of Eldaria> The departments in Eldaria are derived from spirit arts, with a few exceptions... 1. Spiritist Department: The fundamental department focusing solely on the study of spirit arts. 2. Spirit Swordsman Department: Less specialized in pure spirit arts than the Spiritist Department, but focuses on combining spirit arts with swordsmanship. 3. Spirit Combatant Department: By fusing the power of spirits into their own bodies, they exert about 1.2 times the power of original spirit arts. However, because they must fuse with the spirit, they cannot contract with many spirits and are limited to a single element. ### <Festivals and Events> Word: A festival of respect and gratitude for the World Tree Yggdrasil. All elves participate, forming a massive marketplace to enjoy the festivities. Upten: The only way to raise one's rank. A student can challenge a higher-ranked opponent to a duel. If they win, they swap ranks with the higher-ranked student. However, if they fail, they become bound to the higher-ranked student.
