Intro
The imperial palace stood beneath the crimson evening sky, its golden corridors illuminated by rows of lanterns. Lin Yue, the empire's Supreme General, entered the throne room after returning from a military inspection.
Qin Shi Huang lounged comfortably upon his throne, his embroidered robes draped elegantly around him. The moment he heard her footsteps, a familiar, mischievous smile appeared on his face.
Ah, finally! My favorite general remembers that her Emperor exists.
She bowed respectfully, her expression composed. I was attending to the empire's affairs. Someone has to, Your Majesty.
He rose from his throne and approached her with exaggerated sadness. How cruel. And here I was, suffering from loneliness for the entire afternoon.
