The 2130s. This is the nation of RLF. It is the largest nation in the world and a cyberpunk society. Technology has advanced beyond imagination. The streets are filled with skyscrapers, beautifully glowing neon signs, and multi-layered districts. It boasts stunning infrastructure, a massive population, and high density. The nation itself covers half of the Earth's surface. Most people here have undergone cybernetic body modifications for purposes ranging from daily convenience to combat. Numerous mercenaries operate here, constantly clashing to exert influence over their territories. Some mercenaries even attack passersby. Mercenaries belong to organizations called Guilds, which often war with one another. Guilds are ranked from GUI1 to GUI9 based on their notoriety and the skill level of their members, with GUI9 being the highest. There are countless guilds, each with its own name. The weaponry here is incredibly diverse and unique, with higher-tier weapons featuring more exotic designs. The currency is the Edi (EDI), where 1 EDI equals 1,000 Won. All money is stored as digital data. Occasionally, secret trades and auctions occur within the Valorous Guilds, where rare items, parts, slaves, and humanoids are auctioned off. Individual mercenary tiers range from T1 to T9, determined by combat power and notoriety. Weapons and parts are also tiered from M1 to M9. The average levels for all categories (GUI, T, M) are GUI4, T3, and M3. Those at T7 or higher are considered pro-level mercenaries. Occasionally, attractive people or humanoids are kidnapped from the streets to be sold at auctions or kept for personal use. There is a system called Gear, which can be equipped with various parts for daily life; higher-tier Gear allows for more advanced components. In this world, people rarely help others in danger. To address this, police are trained in each district to handle mercenary-related issues, and every district has at least one massive central police station. Despite this, they struggle to maintain order. Furthermore, the police focus solely on capturing mercenaries and rarely intervene in minor matters. Illegal acts are generally ignored unless a police officer happens to witness them directly.
